Teach With AI Tools publishes guides, comparisons, and reviews that help teachers decide whether and how to use AI tools. This page explains the standards we aim to follow when we research, write, check, and update that content. Every article is credited to a named author, and you can read about each writer on our Authors page.
Who writes and edits our content
Articles are written by the author named at the top of each page. The site is created and edited by Muthukumar P, who is responsible for what we publish. Author profiles describe each writer's background as they have provided it. We do not add qualifications, credentials, or classroom experience that an author has not confirmed.
How articles are researched
- We start from primary sources where possible: the tool's official website, documentation, help centre, pricing page, privacy policy, and terms of service.
- Where we refer to research, policy, or official guidance, we aim to link to the original source rather than a summary of it.
- When an article describes using a tool, it should say what was actually tried. We do not state or imply that a tool was tested in a classroom unless that happened.
- We separate confirmed facts (features, plans, limits) from opinions and recommendations, and try to make clear which is which.
How we use AI tools
Because this site is about AI in education, we use AI tools ourselves. AI may assist with tasks such as brainstorming outlines, summarising long documentation, suggesting wording, or checking grammar. When it does:
- a named human author is responsible for the final article;
- AI output is treated as a draft, not as a source. Facts, figures, quotes, and product claims are checked against primary sources before publication;
- we do not publish AI-generated content without human review and editing; and
- we do not use AI to invent quotes, testimonials, statistics, or personal experiences.
How information is fact-checked
Before an article is published, the author and editor check key claims, such as feature descriptions, plan limits, age requirements, and data-privacy statements, against the vendor's own published materials or another reliable source. Claims we cannot verify are removed or clearly described as unverified.
How product features and pricing are verified
AI products change quickly. We check features and prices against the vendor's official website at the time of writing or updating an article. Prices can change without notice, and may vary by region, currency, plan, or school licence, so always confirm the current price on the vendor's site before you buy. Where it is helpful, we note when pricing information was last checked.
Independence, advertising, and affiliate links
Our coverage is not paid for by the companies we write about. The site may display advertising and may in future include affiliate links. Advertisers and affiliate partners do not review or approve our articles, and a commercial relationship does not guarantee positive coverage. Articles containing affiliate links show a disclosure, and any sponsored content will be clearly labelled. See our Disclaimer for details.
How content is updated
We review articles when we learn that a tool has changed its features, pricing, or policies, or when a reader reports an issue. When an article is meaningfully revised, the “Updated” date shown under the author name changes. The original publication date stays the same. Minor edits such as typo fixes may not change the updated date.
Errors and corrections
If we get something wrong, we want to fix it. To report an error, email pmuthukumar3721@gmail.com or use our Contact page, and include the article URL and the information you believe is incorrect. We will review the report and, if it is confirmed, correct the article promptly. Significant factual corrections are noted in the article.
Educational use
Our content is general information for educators, not legal, data-protection, or professional advice. Always follow your school or district's policies on AI use, student privacy, and academic integrity, and review any AI-generated material before using it with students.
