I teach literacy and work across subjects with middle and high school students, and after three years in the classroom I have a pretty clear sense of what works and what just sounds good in a product demo. I started reviewing AI tools on TeachWithAI Tools because I wanted a space where teachers could get honest opinions without having to wonder if a recommendation was paid for. When I cover something outside my subject area I bring in someone who actually teaches it, because I think that matters. No sponsorships, no affiliate links. Just what I would genuinely tell a colleague in the staffroom.

I have been teaching for two years and somewhere along the way I got completely pulled into the world of AI and what it can do inside a classroom. I started TeachWithAI Tools because I kept finding myself testing tools late at night and thinking other teachers probably have the same questions I do. I only write about what I have actually tried. If something made my lesson planning easier or helped my students stay engaged, I want other educators to know about it. And if something looked good but fell flat in practice, I will say that too.

I am an Education Technology Specialist and I have spent the past year going deep on AI tools to figure out which ones are actually worth bringing into a classroom. I write for TeachWithAI Tools because I believe teachers deserve reviews that are honest and based on real use, not just a quick look at the features page. Before I recommend anything I test it properly and ask myself whether I would feel comfortable telling a fellow educator to spend their time on it. That question keeps me honest. If it clears that bar, I write about it. If it does not, I move on.
